Hillingdon Police on behalf of the Metropolitan Police are taking part in a charity cycle ride in order to raise money for the North West Police Benevolent Fund, in memory of Pc Fiona Bone and Pc Nicola Hughes following the horrific tragedy that took place last week
We will be undertaking a 190 mile bike ride starting on the 6th November 2012 from Westminster Cathedral following a memorial service being held in memory of the officers. Then over 3 days four (4) officers from the Hillingdon Partnership Tasking Team along with a support team will cycle to the Greater Manchester Police Headquarters where a charity cheque will be handed over to representatives of the family.
Having completed the 190 mile journey the officers are then hoping to complete a tour of duty in honour of the officers with their team mates before returning back to Hillingdon. We are hoping to raise in excess of £5000 for the families
